Senior AI Product Engineer  ·  Tech Lead  ·  Chicago

I'm an AI product engineer with two business degrees (BS Finance, MS Information Systems) from Indiana University and 13 years building software at PwC, Capital One, and McKinsey. Most recently I led a team of 10 building an AI-powered performance evaluation platform used by McKinsey's leadership.

My business background gives me a focus on the economics and motivations driving a business, while my early years as a food server gave me an instinct for the customer. That combination is rare for a software engineer and it makes me a more effective technical leader, one who can translate between what the business needs, what users want, and what engineering can deliver.

Outside of work I exercise my competitive drive through basketball and running, and my creative side playing keyboard with local musicians at open mic nights around Oak Park, IL. I've also recently started writing about the local food scene in Chicago's near west suburbs for The Wednesday Journal.
